We have an opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst- Intermediate (BSA) to support a customer in the Fort Knox Ky. Area

Position Description:

Responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting mission critical computer applications relating to modeling, testing and data models to improve the flow of information or knowledge through an organization to enhance mission success. This includes project analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of all processes necessary to internal and external applications.

Responsibilities:

• Documenting business processes and wire framing system designs using process flow diagram tools, UML, sequence diagrams, etc. as well as making recommendations for future state improved processes and system designs
• Defining the system requirements, identifying gaps between current and desired end-states, and delivering a comprehensive solution that will enable achievement of the desired business outcomes
• Develop and execute test plans and test new or modified software for reliability and accuracy.
• Create basic models and prototype interfaces to identify and validate business processes and solutions when appropriate.

​Skills:

• Experience defining business requirements
• Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
• Systems analysis and design.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving skills
• Must be a team player as demonstrated through a customer qualification of a large scale/enterprise implementation with multiple work streams
• Strong working knowledge and experience with computer systems, applications, development, and testing methodologies as they relate to the business areas being supported.
• Has successfully participated in project teams with medium to large business initiatives.
• Working knowledge of industry standard methodologies and best practices (i.e. Project Life Cycle and System Development Life Cycle).
• Experienced with writing, executing and reviewing test cases.
• Strong Business Analyst skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, information technology, business administration, finance or a related area
• Have at least 4 years’ experience as a Business System Analyst or Business Analyst;
• Have at least 2 years’ experience analyzing organizational business processes for inefficiencies;
• Have at least 2 years’ experience modeling, testing and data models to improve the flow of information or knowledge through an organization to enhance mission success.
• Strong Business Analyst skills required.  Business Analyst certification a plus.
