We have an opportunity for a Cybersecurity Specialist/eMASS System Administrator to support one of our Federal customers in the Falls Church Va. area.

MINIMUM CLEARANCE LEVEL: Active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher)

Position Description:

Component Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) System Administrator for the Cybersecurity Management and Planning Support contract, supporting the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Cybersecurity Division (CSD), under the Health IT Directorate.  Responsible for component-level compliance reporting on behalf of the Division and strategic planning, and ensuring the government customer is aware of the Agency’s overall status with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).  Keep client aware of status of DIACAP to RMF transitions within the Agency.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Keeping the government client aware of compliance status for the component, and each subcomponent, by creating customized reports of data obtained in eMASS with elevated access.
  • Linking various sources of compliance reporting with the official tools for upward reporting.
  • Reviewing DD2875s for system access to eMASS; ensuring the signature authorities have authorization to approve access to accounts.
  • Reactivating eMASS accounts.
  • Responding to requests for information about systems in eMASS for reciprocity purposes.
  • Providing metrics to government customer on current trends with support requests.

Desired: Skills:

  • Familiarity with the DHA Health IT Directorate (J-6) structure, to include the Divisions and Branches under HIT/J-6
  • Experience with the DoD RMF for Authorization to Operate (ATO) eMASS
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and workflow capabilities
  • Strategic thinker that has an understanding of impact of operational decisions on all upward reporting and metrics
  • Project Management experience, to include identifying stakeholders, producing charters, creating work breakdown structures, establishing meetings in Outlook, conducting meetings, sending agendas, ensuring meeting minutes distributed.
  • Familiar with the DoD Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS) Management process
  • Understanding of Issuances released by Joint Force Headquarters- DOD Information Networks (JFHQ-DoDIN) and US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) and impact on the Agency
  • Familiarity with network security
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Experience in Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) and previous experience using DoD compliance tools (ACAS, Retina, SCAP, STIG/SRG)
  • Understanding of Federal Information Systems Management Act (FISMA) requirements, to include Scorecard reporting
  • Experience working as a DoD contractor in support of a government Program Management Office, to include understanding Command reporting structures
  • Has an understanding that separate government agencies have independent tasking, Command structures, funding and contractor support
  • Understanding of System Development Lifecycle requirements
  • Experience conduct meetings, to include embracing current technology and DoD enterprise toolsets

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • DoD 8570 approved IAM Level I (or higher) security baseline certification
  • Security+ certification required
