We have an opportunity for a Project Manager to support one of our Federal customers in the Charleston, SC area.

MINIMUM CLEARANCE LEVEL: Secret

Position Description:

The Project Manager responsible for the performance of technical projects in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities. Reports to the Program manager. Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives. Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned projects and for supporting new business development by leading relatively small proposals or assisting with major proposals. Monitors the performance of each task or group of tasks and informs the Program Manager of all problems and accomplishments. Serves as technical authority for specific task areas and participates in solutions of systems problems with new technology. Directs engineers, analysts, programmers and other technical personnel on assigned work. Provides as necessary on-site and technical direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects with broad scope, ambiguity, and high degree of difficulty
  • Own and drive projects and deliverables across various teams within cybersecurity and throughout program life cycle
  • Demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of cybersecurity technologies, embedded security, and platforms
  • Experience with a high level of analytical ability where problems are typically unusual and difficult – gather and interpret complex qualitative or quantitative data
  • Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and elements
  • Anticipate problems, productively escalate issues, make trade-off decisions, and balance business needs versus technical
  • Develop and deliver high-quality documentation for technical audiences and non-technical audiences

Skills:

  • Five years demonstrated ability to supervise, plan and lead technical/engineering teams in multiple, complex task assignments involving diverse engineering disciplines
  • Excellent leadership, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Experience with driving policy implementations that streamlines execution and decreases redundancy
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize; manage a high volume of tasks and multiple projects
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; displays customer obsession, patience, humor and resourceful and positive attitude
  • Demonstrates excellent judgment, discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential information
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism when dealing with internal customers and senior leaders
  • Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Physical Sciences, Information Security, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Business or Health Sciences Related Field.
  • Fourteen (14) years of engineering experience related to communication/computer/radar or similar systems.
  • Five years demonstrated ability to supervise, plan and lead technical/engineering teams in multiple, complex task assignments involving diverse engineering disciplines and includes written and oral communications commensurate with management role.
  • Familiarity with Defense Health Agency, a plus Minimum of DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II (e.g. Security +) is required with the ability to obtain IAT\IAM III certification (e.g. CISSP)
