We have an opportunity for an Information Assurance Specialist 3 supporting one of our Federal customers in the Charleston SC. area.

MINIMUM CLEARANCE LEVEL: Secret
CITIZENSHIP: US Citizenship
LOCATION: Charleston SC

Position Summary:
The Information Assurance Specialist 3 provides Information System Security support to a computing environment within the Defense Health Agency. The successful applicant will work with the various stakeholders to provide technical writing assistance, compliance review, and approval coordination with the appropriate government agency. Provide technical support in researching and engineering cyber solutions for the Defense Health Agency internal and external customers in all segments of the Military Health System across multiple functional areas to include the services network systems. 

  • Documented Cybersecurity background in system design, integration and development
  • System requirements analysis
  • System Test and Evaluation, planning execution and management

 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with Information Technology, to include three of the following areas: program management and strategic planning, Systems Requirements, HIPAA requirements, Medical Systems, DoD Medical, Operational Requirements, Enterprise Strategic Planning, Unix/Linux system software, Test & Evaluation, and Training.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in one or more of: medical systems; advanced system architecture; hardware technologies; digital/analog communications technologies; applied physics; human factors engineering; computer simulation; electronic sensor technologies; and ERP. Demonstrated experience in at least three of the following areas:
  • Ability to plan and organize work and interact with technical and non-technical personnel translating user requirements into responsive applications.
  • Demonstrated detailed knowledge of IA concepts and requirements.
  • Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge DOD military specifications and standards.
  • System design integration planning for multiple large-scale installations.
  • Hardware and software Evaluation
  • System Test and Evaluation, planning execution and/or management.
  • System requirements planning and oversight.
  • Technical development product milestone scheduling.
  • Understanding of FISMA and HIPAA IA requirements.
  • Services Oriented Architecture design and development.

Qualifications:

Technical Training in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Medical Systems, Network Design, Strategic Planning, and/or HIPAA
