We have an opportunity for a PKI Registration Authority/Key Recovery Agent to support one of our Federal customers in the Falls Church Va. area

MINIMUM CLEARANCE LEVEL: Active DoD Secret Clearance (or higher)
CITIZENSHIP: US Citizenship
LOCATION:  Falls Church, VA (Area)

 

Position Description:

The Registration Authority (RA)/Key Recovery Agent (KRA) supports the Defense Health Agency (DHA) by performing certificate issuance, certificate revocations, and key recoveries in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Certificate Practice Statement (CPS).  The RA/KRA provides day-to-day support for DHA PKI activities to include processing certificate requests for devices, alternate tokens, code signing, group/role, and SIPRNet tokens and processing key recoveries and revocation requests.  The RA/KRA is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing standard operating procedures (SOP) for all RA/KRA activities.  The RA/KRA will maintain documentation of requests/issuances/revocation to support internal and external PKI audits.    

Responsibilities:

  • Manage/maintain email group mailbox correspondence
  • Receive, process, issue, revoke, reject certificate requests as required by DoD CPS and DHA policies
  • Provide customer support
  • Attend DHA and DoD meetings to support PKI efforts
  • Provide inputs and suggestions for process improvement
  • Keeping the government client aware of PKI compliance status for each system under the component
  • Providing metrics to government customer on current trends with support requests

Desired: Skills:

  • Knowledge of SharePoint and workflow capabilities
  • Strategic thinker that has an understanding of impact of operational decisions on all upward reporting and metrics
  • Understanding of Issuances released by Joint Force Headquarters- DOD Information Networks (JFHQ-DoDIN) and US Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) and impact on the Agency
  • Familiarity with network security
  • Understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
  • Experience working as a DoD contractor in support of a government Program Management Office, to include understanding Command reporting structures
  • Has an understanding that separate government agencies have independent tasking, Command structures, funding and contractor support

Qualifications:

  • DoD RA Certification
  • DoD KRA Certification
  • Remedy experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • DoD 8570 approved IAM Level I (or higher) security baseline certification (e.g. Security+)
  • Secret clearance required
